Asguipa is the Association of Professional Guides of Arequipa, looking for promoting, diffusing and developing the tourist industry, contributing with the economic and social growth of Arequipa Region practicing the Responsible Tourism, under the slogan "Creativity, Professionalism and Integral Development of Tourism".

Asguipa is seen as a recent association, working for tourism, with a leadership through the formal empowerment of the associates who assist to conferences, courses and workshops, promoting and reinforcing the Code of Ethics and Good Practices, with the higher rules of professionalism, formation, new tendencies in tourism and legal topics, enhacing the profession's image and obtaining the representation as the city's ambassadors, showing the visitors all the customs, traditions, folklore, etc., of all the places to visit in Arequipa's city.
We see ourselves as a modern institution, specialized fulfilling the requisition of tourism sector.
